Stars Vs. Red Wings: Game Preview, TV Times And More

The Dallas Stars are looking to snap a two-game losing streak and beat the Detroit Red Wings for the first time this season at home in American Airlines Center.

The Dallas Stars host the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday night in American Airlines Center at 8:30 p.m. (ET). This will be the third of four times that the Stars and Red Wings have faced each other in the 2011-2012 season. Detroit won the first matchup 5-2 and the second 5-4.

The Stars are looking to snap a two-game losing streak against Detroit. They're led in goals by right winger Michael Ryder, in points by left winger Jamie Benn and goalie Kari Lehtonen has a 2.47 goals against average. The Red Wings are looking for their fourth win in a row and their third in a row over the Stars. They're led in goals by right winger Johan Franzen, in points by center Pavel Datsyuk and goalie Jimmy Howard has a 1.98 goals against average. The Red Wings are in fifth place in the Western Conference and the Stars are in 10th place.
