The Dallas Stars will play just one game this weekend, and they don't need to leave home to do it. The New Jersey Devils will head to the American Airlines Center on Saturday to conclude a Western road trip.

The Stars could use a win over the Devils to right the ship after suffering their first home loss of the season on Thursday against the Kings. New Jersey might be able to provide: the Devils are 1-2-0 over the first three games of their four-game road trip, and have been outscored 9-4 in their two losses.

But the Devils also blanked Los Angeles 3-0 on Tuesday, shutting out one of two teams that have handed the Stars losses in the 2011 NHL season. It remains to be seen if the transitive property will help New Jersey give Dallas its second home loss of the season.
