The Dallas Mavericks have just one game on the docket for this weekend, hosting the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday night at the AAC.
The Mavericks recently enjoyed the return of Dirk Nowitzki to the lineup yet have lost seven of their last eight games as the team continues to struggle with consistency. The Mavericks have now fallen to 13-20 on the season and have slipped nearly to the basement of the Western Conference standings.
The Hornets, meanwhile, occupy that final spot in the West with with a 7-25 record on the season and one of the lowest scoring rosters in the NBA. Tipoff between the Mavericks and Hornets is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.
Western Conference leaders Oklahoma City has two games on the schedule this weekend, facing the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday at 7 p.m before traveling to Toronto to take on the Raptors on Sunday afternoon. The San Antonio Spurs have just one game this weekend, hosting the 76ers on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
