Dallas Mavericks Offseason 2012: Brandon Roy Could Be Headed To Big D

One of the sleeper free agents this offseason has to be guard Brandon Roy, who was forced to retire due to health reasons after the 2010-11 season but is ready to make a come back. General managers and basketball minds haven't forgotten about Roy, who averages 19 points a game for his career, and the Dallas Mavericks are among several teams in the running for the former All-Star's services.

The Mavericks have been in pursuit of bigger names like Deron Williams and Dwight Howard, actually preferring to land both before everything is said and done. But adding a player of Roy's caliber would be a nice consolation if Williams decides to remain with the Nets, and Howard lands elsewhere.
