The Dallas Mavericks summer league team will try to keep the wins coming after they defeated the New Orleans Hornets on Friday as they face the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Now with a 3-1 record in Vegas, the Mavericks have seen their "veterans" step up and produce quite well. Dominique Jones has been the Mavericks star of the summer league thus far. Jones put up a solid stat line of 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists on Friday versus the Hornets and will look to continue to do more of the same versus the Spurs.
The Spurs will have a few roster regulars on the court Saturday, as James Anderson and Corey Joseph have both been logging heavy minutes thus far for San Antonio. The Spurs only pick of the 2012 draft, Marcus Denmon of Missouri, played 8 minutes in their last game versus Miami for 5 points and 1 rebound.
This will be the final game for the Mavs in the Las Vegas summer league as tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM Central Time.
