NBA Las Vegas Summer League 2012: Dallas Defeats New Orleans 78-65

Dominique Jones continued his strong play for the Dallas Mavericks at the Las Vegas Summer League, showing off his versatile game in a 78-65 win over the New Orleans Hornets on Friday night. Jones ended the matchup with an efficient 16 points of 7-11 shooting, nine assists and five rebounds in just over 33 minutes of play. Through four games, he's averaging 20.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists.

The team also saw a strong effort from forward Jae Crowder, who was selected with one of the second-round picks Dallas acquired from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a draft-day trade. Crowder led the team in scoring with 18 points on 7-15 shooting.

The Mavericks will wrap up Summer League play with a game against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. CT.
