NBA Summer League 2012 Final: Mavericks Fall To The Atlanta Hawks, 67-61

The Dallas Mavericks started off hot during the NBA’s annual summer league in Las Vegas, winning their first two games. But on Wednesday they ran into a tough opponent in the Atlanta Hawks and fell to their counterparts by a final score of 67-61.

Jae Crowder who played his college ball at Marquette, led the way for the Mavericks as he scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 34 minutes of action on the floor. Bernard James, free-agent rookie from Florida State contributed 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss.

Next up for the Mavs in Las Vegas will be a game against the New Orleans Hornets on Thursday.
