With the high-profile additions of Chris Kaman, Elton Brand, Darren Collison and OJ Mayo over the last week, the Dallas Mavericks roster is pretty much set.
The one big question left is the ultimate fate of Delonte West, who impressed as a combo guard and occasional starter for the Mavericks last season.
While Mayo and Collison will soak up most of the minutes in the back-court, Dallas still wants to bring West back:
On bringing back G Delonte West, #Mavs GM Donnie Nelson said: "We’re continuing to be engaged and we just have to see how things pan out."

To return, West would likely need to sign a one-year $2.5 million contract to fit into the team's last salary cap exception.
If he does, he would likely serve as the team's third guard and play both positions coming off the bench. That, in turn, would likely spell the end of Rodrigue Beaubois and Dominique Jones in Dallas.
