2012 NBA Mock Draft: Mavericks May Target Kentucky PF Terrence Jones

The Dallas Mavericks are getting ready for the impending 2012 NBA Draft. The latest mock draft at DraftExpress suggests that the Mavericks will use their No. 17 overall pick in the first round to select Terrence Jones, a power forward from the Kentucky Wildcats. Here is what DraftExpress has to say about Jones:

Measured at 6'9 with a 7'2 wingspan and powerful 245-pound frame that he worked hard to add additional muscle to last summer, Jones has everything you look for in a NBA forward physically, even if he could be considered a tad undersized for the power forward position. He runs the floor like a small forward, plays above the rim in traffic, makes fluid moves off the dribble, and has the package of tools to defend multiple positions at the NBA level.

If Jones is still on the board by the time the Mavs' first pick rolls around, he would be a solid acquisition.
