The Mavericks star has now made one of the three All-NBA teams for the 12th consecutive season.

While Dirk Nowitzki didn't show up to training camp in shape and had to miss four games early in the year for conditioning, his stellar offensive play once again carried the Dallas Mavericks into the playoffs for the 12th consecutive season and he was rewarded with a berth on the All-NBA third team on Thursday.

As the voting made clear, even one of Dirk's down seasons is still an incredible year, as the Dallas 7'0 averaged 21 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists on 46% shooting.

It was the 12th All-NBA season for Dirk, whose now made four appearances on the first team, five on the second and three on the third team.

The first team this season consisted of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant, while the second team had Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Andrew Bynum, Tony Parker and Russell Westbrook. Joining Dirk on the third team are Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler, Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo.
