NBA Free Agency 2012: Deron Williams Has Made No Decision About His Destination

One of the biggest free agents on the market during the NBA offseason -- at least where the Dallas Mavericks are concerned -- will be guard Deron Williams. The New Jersey Nets will be hoping to retain the player's services as they make the move to Brooklyn and Williams has been high on the Mavs' most-coveted players list for some time.

Kurt Hellin at ProBasketballTalk reports that Williams has made no decision about where he will end up in the fall of 2012.

"I want to reiterate, I don't know what I'm doing next year," Williams said. "Still. Nobody does but me. Not even my mom, my brother, my uncle, my cousin. I haven't talked to anybody about where I'm going next year.

"I just hate that people think they know where I'm going, because I don't know where I'm going," said Williams, who isn't allowed to talk with other teams since he hasn't opted out yet. "So there's no way for them to know, or assume that I'm going to Dallas or that I'm staying here. I don't know. There could be another team that comes into the picture."

Still, Williams' comments make it seem as though his choice is likely to be between the Nets and the Mavs. We will all just have to wait to find out.
