Mavericks Vs. Grizzlies Halftime Update: Dallas Down 51-47

Despite shooting 51.2 percent from the field, the Dallas Mavericks find themselves down 51-47 at halftime to the Memphis Grizzlies in Wednesday night NBA action.

Surprisingly, center Marc Gasol was the lead distributor for the Grizzlies in the first half, nothing six assists to go along with five points and five rebounds.

Unsurprisingly, Dirk Nowtizki and Jason Terry led the scoring charge for Dallas, combining for 19 points.

The game is an important one for both sides, as each team enters tonight's action with 30 wins. The Grizzlies, however, hold the advantage in the loss column with just 22, while Dallas has 24. A win tonight would send either team into fifth place in the Western Conference as the regular season comes to a close.
