The weather is getting scary in Texas. There are serious tornado warnings in Dallas as of Tuesday afternoon and it is possible the city may see its first tornado in several years. Citizens are being told to stay inside and off the roads and there are planes grounded at Dallas Ft. Worth airport. It appears that the weather is keeping the members of the Dallas Mavericks inside as well.
On Tuesday afternoon, Dirk Nowitzki tweeted that the Mavericks were not being allowed to leave their practice space in Dallas. They will likely remain in the gym until things clear up.
The Mavericks are scheduled to host the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, but it is possible plans will need to be adjusted due to the weather.
Best of luck to everyone in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Please stay safe and follow all necessary safety precautions.
