2012 NBA Western Conference Standings: Mavericks Holding Steady At No. 7 Spot

The Mavericks are currently at the No. 7 spot for the Western Conference playoffs with one game to go, while the Nuggets are at the No. 6 position with two game and lead the Mavericks by half a game. The final game for the Mavericks is against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday who are battling for home court advantage in the Eastern Conference.

The Nuggets face the Thunder and Timberwolves over the final two games and if they win one of those two final games they will get the No. 6 spot while the Mavericks will finish at No. 7.
