Mavericks Vs. Bulls Halftime Score: Dallas Trail Chicago 44-38

The first quarter between the Dallas Mavericks and the Chicago Bulls was not going well for the Mavericks since they were outscored 31-8. The second quarter was a completely different story as the Mavericks slowly crawled back into this game and now trail the Bulls 44-38 at the half.

The Mavericks went on a 16-3 in the second quarter and made it a two-point game, but the Bulls responded to the Mavericks threat and did not allow them to get any closer than two points.

The offense for the Mavericks is playing very poor tonight and have made only 34 percent from the field but it has been able to keep it close by going 11-of-13 from the free throw line. Dirk Nowitzki is the only Dallas player in double figures with 12 points and the next closest is Delonte West who has six points.

Dallas will need to step up their offensive game if they are going to challenge the Bulls in the second half.
