The Lamar Odom Soap Opera Continues

The glare of the national media is never far from Lamar Odom, as the Mavericks forward has gotten into a spat with Frank Isola, a Knicks beat writer for the New York Daily News.

Isola reported that Marc Cuban berated Odom for not hustling during the third quarter of Dallas' 95-85 victory over the Knicks on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Odom responded on Twitter:

Mavs Moneyball has the video of this "story", which might make for a compelling episode for Odom's TV show regardless of its actual news content. NBA veterans, especially in this lockout-compressed season, don't always hustle back on defense and Cuban is notorious for yelling during games from his seat next to the Mavericks bench.

Just because Odom is one of the most famous players in the league doesn't necessarily make every single thing he does important.
