Dirk Nowitzki Impressed By Delonte West's ... "Stones"

While Dirk Nowitzki was the hero of the Mavericks 100-98 victory over the Magic on Friday thanks to his dramatic game-winning shot, Dallas wouldn't have been able to get back in the game without a strong effort from Delonte West:

West, who was playing in only his second game back after missing six weeks with a broken finger, was a difference maker on Friday, with 15 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds.

For an idea of how important his playmaking, defense and shooting were for the Mavericks, Dallas was +17 over the game's final 15 minutes after inserting West into the game with 2:34 left in the third quarter.

He's the most well-rounded of the Mavericks guards, and if he continues to play as well as he did on Friday, Rick Carlisle is going to have a hard time not giving him as many minutes as he can handle.
