Mavericks Vs. Rockets Score: Dallas Trailing Houston 49-46 At Halftime

The Dallas Mavericks fell behind early but a big second quarter has them trailing the Houston Rockets by only three, 49-46 at halftime.

The Mavericks shot the ball well in the first half and from the free throw line where they are 12-15. Dirk Nowitzki did most of the damage from the line making 9-10 attempts and is leading the Mavericks in scoring with 13 first-half points. Rodrigue Beaubois added nine points off the bench while Vince Carter has seven.

Luis Scola was the man for the Rockets with 16 points and five rebounds at the intermission. Chandler Parsons hit a couple of threes and has 10 points while Goran Dragic added nine points and five assists despite an ankle injury suffered in Monday's game.
