The Dallas Mavericks saw their two game winning streak come to an end as they fell 109-93 to the Los Angeles Lakers. A poor second quarter put the Mavericks in a hole as they struggled defensively against the Lakers.
Dirk Nowitzki finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Mavericks hitting 10-24 shots. Jason Terry added 23 points while Vince Carter pitched in nine. Lamar Odom's struggles continued as he finished with just one point and one rebound in 21 minutes of action.
Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 30 points while hitting 11-18 shots. Pau Gasol added 27 points and nine rebounds while Ramon Sessions came off the bench to score 17 points and hand out nine assists in 29 minutes. Matt Barnes also finished in double figures with 11 points and nine rebounds.
