In devastating news for Josh Howard, the former Dallas Mavericks All-Star, who has been playing for the Utah Jazz this season, has been ruled out for the rest of the season:

It's been all downhill for Howard since being dealt to Washington as a part of the Caron Butler deal in 2010, as he tore his ACL almost immediately as he began playing for the Wizards.
↵He missed most of the next 1.5 seasons recovering, falling almost completely off the NBA radar in the process.
↵The most unfortunate part of his career is that he's become known more for his various off-the-court indiscretions and rumored marijuana use than the excellent player he was in his time in Dallas.
↵He was signed with Utah for only one year, so this injury couldn't have come at a worse time.
