Mavericks Vs. Spurs Final Score: Dallas Get Past San Antonio, 106-99

The Dallas Mavericks got a much needed win by defeating the Southwest leading San Antonio Spurs 106-99. The Mavericks had a big third quarter to extend their lead 10 points and held off the Spurs comeback attempt in the fourth quarter. The Spurs got within five points two different times in the fourth quarter, but the Mavericks countered to extend the lead both times the Spurs got close.

The offense for the Mavericks was spread out with five players scoring in double figures with Dirk Nowitzki leading all scorers with 27 points, 19 of which were in the first half. Jason Kidd also had a big game with 14 points and 10 assists on the night.

The win is the third straight for the Mavericks and comes off the heels of a 2-7 stretch.
