The Dallas Mavericks looked sluggish and tired during the first half of their matchup with the Golden State Warriors in which they trail 52-42 at halftime. This game is the third and final game of a back-to-back-to-back set for the Mavericks.
The Mavericks have struggled offensively making only 13-41 shot attempts but have been able to stay within striking distance thanks to 13-16 shooting from the free throw line. Dirk Nowitzki awakened late in the half and has 12 points to lead the Mavs at halftime. Ian Mahinmi chipped in seven points and six rebounds in the first half.
David Lee carried the Warriors in the first half scoring 21 points and grabbing six rebounds. Stephen Curry returned to the starting lineup and has 10 points at the break. The Warriors shot 53 percent from the floor and hit 5-13 shots from beyond-the-arc.
