NBA Trade Rumors: Mavericks May Be Ready To Move Rodrigue Beaubois

The team is reportedly tired of the inconsistent play from their third-year guard.

According to a report from ESPN.com's Chris Broussard, the Dallas Mavericks may be interested Rodrigue Beaubois, the team's promising but inconsistent young PG, before the NBA trade deadline:

Sources say Dallas is about ready to move on from the Roddy Beaubois experiment. The Mavericks have thought for years that the talented young Frenchman could be another Tony Parker, but he has not been able to master the move from shooting guard to point guard. Nor has he been able to fill the void left by J.J. Barea. If they don't move him before this year's deadline, he could be gone over the summer.

In his third year in the NBA, Beaubois has flashed signs of greatness but has been unable to carve out a consistent spot in the team's rotation due to the presence of veterans like Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, Delonte West and Vince Carter.

His per-36 minutes have slipped for the second consecutive season and the 6'3 180 guard has the lowest shooting percentage of his career (41%) this year.

He's currently away from the team while mourning the unexpected passing of his father last week.
