Mavericks Vs. 76ers Final Score: Dallas Has Big Second Half To Defeat Philly, 82-75

The Dallas Mavericks look to be well on their to a lose against the Philadelphia 76ers as they trailed by 14 points at the half. Then the third quarter started and the Mavericks offense and defense came alive as they outscored the 76eres 24-8 to take a three-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, and the offense streak continued as they outscored the 76ers 21-16 to win 82-75.

Dirk Nowitzki led the scoring charge with 24 second half points and ended up with 28 on the night, and also hauled in 12 rebounds. As much as the scoring turnaround deserves credit, the Mavericks still only shot 38 percent from the field and the credit goes to their defense who held the 76ers to 24 total second half points.

The Mavericks ultimately pulled away when the game was tied in fourth quarter by going on a 9-0 run to put the 76ers away for good.
