Football season is gone, and so is Tim Tebow and Tebowmania...for now. But unless you've been living under a rock, there's been another athlete to take Tebow's place in the "Holy Crap Please Stop Talking About This Guy" category: Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks. The Mavericks and their fans will get a taste of Lin and Linsanity on Sunday, as the Mavericks travel to New York to take on the suddenly hot Knicks.
↵To be fair, like Tebow, Lin is an enjoyable story at first. Lin is a Harvard graduate, and one of the very few Asian American players to ever place, and by all means, seems like a pretty good guy. But he's certainly not the second coming, and he's probably not even the answer to New York's many problems.
↵Yeah, the Mavericks play against the 76ers on Friday night, but I'm certainly already looking forward to Sunday's game against the Knicks... and I'm praying that the Mavs put a damper on Linsanity and, at the least, halt New York's winning streak.
