NBA Standings 2012: Mavericks Keeping Pace In Southwest Division

The Dallas Mavericks have won three-straight games which allowing them to keep pace with the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets in the NBA's Southwest Division. The Mavericks remain two games behind the Spurs for the division lead and just a half game in front of the Rockets in second place.

Dallas currently stands at No. 4 in the Western Conference standings which, if the playoffs started today, would give the Mavericks home court advantage in the first round. Dallas is 4.5 games back of conference leading Oklahoma City Thunder and three back of the Clippers for second place.
