Losers of six consecutive games, the Dallas Mavericks will hope to turn things around this week with a pair of vital away games scheduled against Eastern Conference squads.
In addition to the ill-timed six-game slide, the Mavs have also dropped nine out of their last 10 contests to tumble down to 12th place in the Western Conference. Representing quite possibly their best chance at victory however, the Mavericks will meet a woeful Washington Wizards team on Tuesday at the Verizon Center. The Wizards currently own an NBA-worst 4-24 record overall, and also rank dead-last in the league at 88.8 points per game.
Dallas will then fly down to Miami for a Wednesday showdown with LeBron James and the Heat. The Heat blew out Dirk Nowitzki's Mavericks, 110-95, back on Dec. 20 at American Airlines Center, and Wednesday's game will mark the final regular season meeting between the two franchises.
Mavericks Weekly Schedule
