2012 NBA schedule: Mavericks host Sixers, Heat

The Dallas Mavericks return home on Tuesday looking to snap a three-game losing streak, as Rick Carlisle's Mavs will play host to the 76ers and Heat this week.

Last week's three-game road trip was not kind to the Dallas Mavericks. Dallas fell to 11-13 after losing to Boston, Toronto and Minnesota last week, and now will try to snap its three-game losing streak at home on Tuesday.

Rick Carlisle's Mavericks will play host to the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. Like Dallas, Philadelphia is also riding a three-game losing streak. The Sixers lost to the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers last week -- with the losses to Chicago and Los Angeles coming at home in Philadelphia.

Tip-off between Dallas and Philadelphia is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT.

Dallas will play host to the Miami Heat on Thursday, in a 2011 NBA Finals rematch. Though the Heat are 15-6 on the season, many believe they have under-performed, as the Heat have not played well defensively this season. Miami ranks 18th in the league in points allowed, giving up an average of 98.1 points per game.

The Mavericks and Heat will tip-off at 8:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised nationally on TNT.
