Rick Carlisle's Dallas Mavericks will attempt to rebound from an embarrassing loss to the Los Angeles Lakers this week, when Dallas heads on the road to take on the Philadelphia 76ers and the Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls.
Dallas' first game this week is on Tuesday, when the Mavericks take on the Sixers. Philadelphia improved to 8-6 on the season with a 104-101 win over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, and trail the New York Knicks by two games in the Atlantic Division.
Philadelphia is still waiting for center Andrew Bynum to make his team debut. Bynum is still recovering from a knee injury.
Dallas' modest two-game road trip will conclude on Wednesday, when the Mavericks take on the Bulls. Both Chicago and Dallas have something in common -- a missing superstar. Like the Mavericks missing Dirk Nowitzki, the Bulls are missing Rose, and currently own a 6-6 record through the first 12 games. Chicago will play host to Milwaukee on Monday before hosting Dallas on Wednesday.
