The Dallas Mavericks will spend the fourth week of the 2012-13 season at home, hosting the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks before a weekend showdown against the Lakers. The Warriors are a young and improved team that will certainly challenge the Mavericks. Golden State is an impressive 5-4 through the first month of the season, good enough for second place in the Pacific Division.
The Knicks, of course, are the biggest story in the league so far this season. They finally lost their first game this weekend, a 105-95 defeat in Memphis on Friday. The Mavericks will catch them on the second night of a back-to-back, so they will have a shot to take advantage of a weary Knick team that's been the most impressive club in the Eastern Conference.
Here's the Mavericks schedule for the week:
Golden State Warriors at Dallas Mavericks - Monday, Nov. 19 - 8:30 p.m. ET
New York Knicks at Dallas Mavericks - Wednesday, Nov. 21 - 8:30 p.m. ET
