It hasn't been a good few days for Delonte West. He was suspended today for the second time this week after allegedly being blamed for an argument between two Dallas Mavericks teammates. Earlier in the week, he was suspended after an apparent disagreement over playing time, but the issue was resolved the same day. Now, he may be on his way out of Dallas:
Mavericks claim center Eddy Curry off waivers.

To make room for Curry on the roster, the Mavs will reportedly trade or cut West. The 29-year old Curry has played in just 24 games in the last three seasons. He spent last year with the Miami Heat and played in 14 games, averaging 2.1 points in 5.9 minutes. The Mavs need help in the front court as forward Dirk Nowitzki could be out for six weeks after having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee last week. Center Chris Kaman is also dealing with an injured right calf. Curry played in five games for the San Antonio Spurs before being cut this preseason. He averaged 8.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 15.4 minutes with the Spurs.
