Remember all that talk about Dirk Nowitzki's left hand leading up to Game 2 of the 2011 NBA Finals? Well when the Mavs needed it most, Dirk was there for them, and he did it south paw. After a furious comeback in the final minutes of the game by the Dallas Mavericks, Dirk sealed the win with this layup with just under four seconds left.

So much for that injury, I guess. Even with a finger that required a splint, Dirk was able to spin around Chris Bosh (a poor defensive decision) and finish over Haslem. As he has done throughout the playoffs, Dirk was right at the heart of this comeback. He would finish with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
↵The other big performance on Thursday was delivered by Jason Terry, who had his fair share of struggles in Game 1. Terry scored 16, with a few critical shots during the furious rally. If those are on, and Dirk can't even be stopped when he goes to the injured hand, the Mavs are tough to beat.
