Well, tonight should be an interesting night for the 2011 NBA Playoffs. The Los Angeles Lakers play host to the Dallas Mavericks tonight at 10:30 p.m. EST, and shockingly, the Lakers trail the Mavericks 1-0 in the series after Dallas came from behind in Game 1 to win 96-94. Dallas fans have to be giddy thinking about the possibility of returning to Dallas up 2-0 on the Lakers - but do you really think the refs will let that happen? Los Angeles shot nine more free throws than Dallas in Game 1, and I'm betting that margin is bigger in Game 2.
↵The other game tonight is taking place in Chicago as the Bulls look to even up the series against the Atlanta Hawks. Atlanta stunned Chicago in Game 1, winning 103-95. NBA MVP Derrick Rose injured himself in the waning seconds of Game 1, but should be on the court tonight as the No. 1 seeded Bulls look to avoid falling into an 0-2 hole.
↵Last night, the soulless Miami Heat defeated the Celtics 102-91 to take a 2-0 series lead as the series shifts back to Boston. In the Western Conference, the Thunder evened up the series at a game a piece, defeating the Grizzles 111-102.
