Is Mark Cuban Vs Ron Artest The Match-Up To Watch in Mavs-Lakers NBA Playoffs Series?

There are columns all around the internet breaking down what match-ups are most important in Game 1 of the Dallas Mavericks second-round NBA Playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers, but the one that doesn't seem to be getting much publicity is between Mavs owner Mark Cuban and Ron Artest of the Lakers.

Thankfully, the Dallas Morning News rounded up some of the most memorable quotes of the season between the two quote machines in anticipation of any possible verbal sparring sessions that might happen during the Western Conference semifinal series.

The best barb, it seems, came from Cuban on Artest to KESN 103.3 last month.

"Now the stuff with Ron Artest; I absolutely want to get in his head. If Ron Artest is thinking about what I had to say during a game, then that's a win. They got us last night - no question about it - but if he's responding and if he's thinking about it and he's looking over at me during the game, then that means he's not focused on the game and that's a good thing."

It will be interesting to see if the two continue their war of words, where Cuban obviously has the advantage considering only Artest will be integral in this series on the court, or if Artest decides to let his play do the talking.
