NBA Playoffs: ESPN's Ric Bucher Says Mavericks Most Likely To Be Upset In West

Appearing on Sportscenter this morning for the self-proclaimed world wide leader, Ric Bucher said that the Dallas Mavericks are the most likely team to be upset in the Western Conference during the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

The Mavericks are obviously favored in the series, as they earned the third seed in the Western Conference with a 57-25 record. Dallas tied with Los Angeles for the second seed, but, since the Lakers won their division, they are awarded the second seed over the Mavericks.

Dallas will be taking on the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round, and Bucher cited match up problems for the Mavericks against Portland. Three of ESPN's analysts are predicting Portland to upset Dallas: Chad Ford, John Hollinger and Tim Legler all believe Portland will win in six games over the Mavericks.

Both Dallas and Portland lost in the first round of the playoffs last year. The series begins on Saturday night in Dallas.
