NCAA Basketball Rankings: Texas Longhorns Steady At #3

Texas held steady in the third spot in today's new AP college basketball poll, after another successful week in the Big 12. The Longhorns manhandled the Aggies in College Station Wednesday night and followed that 20-point win with a 76-60 win over Texas Tech Saturday. They travel to Norman to take on the Sooners, before hosting Baylor Saturday.

Unbeaten Ohio State was unanimously voted #1 again this week, with Kansas in the #2 spot. The Big East continues to dominate the poll, with eight ranked teams, including seven of the top 12. The Pac 10 has just one team in the top 25: Arizona at #15.

Missouri fell to #19 after a 1-1 week that moved them to 4-4 in the conference. A&M dropped to #22 with two losses during the week and were the only other Big 12 team to stay in the poll. Baylor received four votes after topping the Aggies in overtime Saturday.
