Devin Harris will not be coming to the Dallas Mavericks after all.
↵In a blockbuster trade involving the Utah Jazz, the New Jersey Nets have traded Harris along with Derrick Favors and two first-round picks to Utah in exchange for disgruntled superstar Deron Williams.
↵Williams had been accused in recent weeks of orchestrating the exit of longtime Jazz coach Jerry Sloan.
↵Previous reports suggested the Mavericks were keen on acquiring Harris with the intent of flipping him for Williams in the future.
↵And now both guards are off the table.
↵With the trading deadline scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, I suspect that this puts an end to any Mavericks activity at the deadline.
