As Maurice London pointed out earlier, the Dallas Mavericks might have a trade up their sleeve with the New Jersey Nets.
↵After losing out in the Carmelo Anthony sweepstakes, and let's face facts - nobody wants to be a New Jersey Net, the New Jersey Nets have laid the framework to a trade that would send Devin Harris back to Dallas. The Nets would acquire former Knicks Raymond Felton and Timofey Mozgov (who would fit in perfectly with Mikhail Prokhorov) who were sent to Denver in the Carmelo Anthony trade. It's unknown what the Mavericks would give up in this trade at the current time.
↵If this trade actually happens and the Mavericks acquire Harris, we'd likely see Jason Kidd and Harris on the floor at the same time, but with Kidd shifting to the two. Harris would also likely help limit Kidd's minutes and wear and tear on his body, which is a good thing as the Mavericks will need to be as fresh and healthy as they can be if they're serious about making a title run this year.
