Silver Lining To NBA Lockout

NBA fans have to be annoyed, sad and angry over the fact that the lockout has even gone this far. There's still the potential, of course, for the entire season to be lost, though it does at least seem like the players want to try to get a deal done in the near future.

If the whole season is lost, though, Dallas Mavericks fans can take solace in the fact that the Mavericks will be the reigning champs for twice as long. I mean, that's a minor victory, right? And NBA fans can be happy that LeBron James and the rest of the Miami Heat will have to have the 2011 NBA Finals linger even longer, right?
