The defending Super Bowl champions host one of their fiercest rivals Wednesday night as Week 1 of the 2012 NFL season is finally upon us.
The Dallas Cowboys travel to New Jersey to face the New York Giants in a rare Wednesday-night opener that was pushed up from the normal Thursday-night start to avoid conflicting with coverage of the Democratic National Convention.
NBC will televise the game nationally, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. Here's the entire Week 1 schedule:
