Cowboys Vs. Bucs 2012: Mo Claiborne Looks For Turnovers

After getting beat 27-7 by the Seattle Seahawks, the Dallas Cowboys have a lot to sort out, but maybe most important is figuring out a way to get some turnovers. After two games the Cowboys have just one takeaway and have yet to win the turnover battle.

Dallas was hoping that Morris Claiborne would help them with their takeaway problem when they traded up to draft him sixth overall, but that hasn't quite paid off yet. For his part, Claiborne knows that getting his hands on the ball is as much his job as just keeping his man from scoring.

"I haven’t given up any touchdowns, but I feel like I need to get some hands on some balls," Claiborne told Josh Ellis. "That’s a big part of the game if you can knock it down, but if you can go take it out of the air, that just changes the game."

So far, Claiborne is 0-for-2, but it is still early and he is just a rookie. The Cowboys need takeaways, though, and Claiborne might be their best bet, rookie or not.
