Under Jason Garrett, the Dallas Cowboys have made a more concerted effort to churn the bottom of their roster, especially during the season.
That continued on Tuesday, when the Cowboys released tight end Colin Cochart:
Cowboys waive TE Colin Cochart which leaves a roster spot open on the 53. Will dig to see what we come up with to fill it.

Dallas claimed Cochart off waivers on Sept. 1, in an effort to boost the TE position behind Jason Witten, in case he wouldn't be able to play against the New York Giants due to his lacerated spleen. However, with Witten able to go, Cochart was not activated for the game and there was no longer a need for him on the roster.
It remains to be seen what they will do with the roster spot that Cochart's release created.
