Cowboys Add Depth By Signing WR David Little, RB Javarris Williams

The Dallas Cowboys went out and signed wide receiver David Little to add more depth for the position. With injuries to receivers Saalim Hakim, Miles Austin and Danny Coale the Cowboys, and only eight healthy wide receivers the Cowboys had to go out and make a move.

During the summer, Little participated in a Cowboys minicamp, but at the time his play did not warrant a contract offer. LIttle came from Division II Midwestern State and was named the 2011 Southland Conference offensive player of the year.

The Cowboys also brought in running back Javarris Williams who played his college football at another small school at Tennessee State.

Neither Little or Williams can practice right away because of the new CBA rules that require a three-day window for all free-agent signings.
