Cowboys Vs. Dolphins: Dallas Wins 30-13

In the final game of the preseason, the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Miami Dolphins 30-13 at Cowboys Stadium on Wednesday night.

After falling behind 6-0 in the first quarter, the Cowboys took control of the game for good early in the second quarter. With 11:36 left in the second quarter, Cowboys linebacker Orie Lemon stepped in front of a Matt Moore pass and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown and a 10-6 lead.

The second half belonged to Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar. The accomplished rookie out of North Texas rushed for 105 yards on 15 carries in two quarters. Dunbar made his mark on two consecutive plays early in the third -- after returning a punt 27 yards, he took a hand-off on the next play for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Miami closes out the preseason with an 0-4 record, and opens the regular season on Sun., Sept. 9 at the Houston Texans. Dallas finishes the preseason 2-2 and heads to New Jersey to open against the New York Giants on Wed., Sept. 5.
