Dallas Cowboys Unimpressed With Chad Ochocinco, Sky Remains Blue

File this under not surprising: after reviewing tape of the 2011 season, the Dallas Cowboys are unimpressed with former New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco.

Ochocinco was released by the Patriots yesterday, and ESPN's Adam Schefter said earlier on SportsCenter that the Cowboys could be a potential landing spot Ochocinco.

According to Len Pasquarelli, though, that's not going to be the case.

Dallas is seeking a No. 3 receiver, but for now at least, neither Terrell Owens nor Chad Ochocinco seems to be the answer. A Cowboys scout said on Thursday night that the club's personnel people had previously looked at tape of Owens, and then broke out video of Ochocinco after he was released by New England earlier in the day, and were "fairly unimpressed."

That's not in the least bit surprising. Ochocinco struggled mightily with the Patriots last year, and never really grasped Bill Belichick's offense. The great Tom Brady was only able to make use of Ochocinco to the tune of 15 receptions, 276 yards and one touchdown.

Now entering his age 34 season, Ochocinco is likely going to struggle to find work. Luckily for the Cowboys and Cowboys fans, it's not looking like he'll be employed in Dallas anytime soon.
