Dallas Cowboys OTAs are underway, and it appears that one undrafted free agent is making the best out of a poor situation. News broke recently that wide receiver Danny Coale broke his foot, requiring surgery, which put a damper on Cowboys fans.
Tim Benford, an undrafted free agent wide receiver, however, is making the most of his opportunity to make some noise at the wide receiver position with Coale sidelined. The folks over at Blogging the Boys have an excellent piece on Benford that all Cowboys fans should read.
Despite the injury to Coale, hearing it was a productive day for the receivers this morning. Dez and Miles but UDFA Tim Benford as well.

That's quite high praise for anybody to be lumped in with the talented Dez Bryant and Austin Miles, but for an undrafted free agent, it's extremely high praise.
Here's hoping that Benford continues to turn heads throughout the summer. With Dallas' uncertainty at wide out beyond Bryant and Miles, there's certainly the possibility of him making the roster.
