The Dallas Cowboys took Eastern Washington defensive back Matt Johnson with the 135th pick, and prior to being drafted he was asked a lot about his health issues in college. Johnson missed the teams 2010 spring football game with a concussion and some of the 2011 season with a torn bicep muscle.
Johnson addressed these concerns one more time:
"Yes, I got a lot of questions," Johnson said, alluding to what NFL teams asked when it came to his health. "I went through the physical with every place I went and checked out my shoulder and got all of the background checks and got everything checked out and I'm ready to go."
He added: "My health is the best I've felt in all of college."
The concussion injury could be a long-term concern if he continues to have them at the NFL level, but a bicep injury is not something that says that Johnson is injury prone.
