While the Dallas Cowboys are widely believed to be focused on Mark Barron and David DeCastro, it's looking increasingly likely that both players could be gone by the time they are on the clock at No. 14.
That's how SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber sees the first round playing out in his final mock draft, and he has Dallas turning to LSU DL Michael Brockers:
14. Dallas Cowboys, Michael Brockers, DE, LSU
Dallas is a candidate to move up with Barron in their sights. In this scenario they settle for Brockers, a mountain of a man loaded with talent needing some refining.
Brockers, at 6'6 325, has the size to be a nose tackle or a defensive end in the Cowboys 3-4 scheme, the question is whether he will be an effective pass rusher as well, considering that he ran a 5.3 40 at the Combine while getting only 2 sacks this season at LSU.
However, he was part of a deep defensive line rotation for the Tigers and his upside is considered extremely high by most scouts, as he is one of the youngest players in the draft.
Either way, what had seemed like a predictable NFL Draft for the Cowboys is turning into anything but.
Pro Football Weekly breaks down Brockers, ranking him as the No. 21 prospect in the draft:
