2012 NFL Draft: Several Teams Have Mark Barron As No. 6 Player In Draft

The Dallas Cowboys have been linked to Alabama safety Mark Barron in many mock drafts, but suddenly, it doesn't look like Barron is going to be there at No. 14 for the Cowboys to select. According to Tony Pauline, both of SI.com and TYF Draft Insider, several NFL teams have Barron as the sixth best player in the 2012 NFL Draft.

We continue to hear that teams have safety Mark Barron rated as a top ten player. Several teams around the league have Barron ranked 6th on their draft board.

The emergence of the tight end as a weapon in the receiving game may very well have led to Barron's stock increasing. The Buffalo Bills have reportedly been interested in drafting the safety -- and we all know they have their hands full with two pretty talented tight ends in New England.
