NFL Draft Rumors: Cowboys Bring In David DeCastro, Michael Brockers For Visits

According to a report from CBS Sports, the Dallas Cowboys brought in both Stanford OG David DeCastro and LSU DL Michael Brockers on April 18, the last day teams are allowed to host prospects for official visits before the NFL Draft.

Both were originally scheduled to visit Valley Ranch earlier in the month, but the early April tornadoes made that impossible.

Every one of the team's first round picks since DeMarcus Ware had an official visit, so DeCastro and Brockers' last-minute trip is a pretty good indication that they are both still on the Cowboys draft board at No. 14.

DeCastro is considered one of the safest picks in the draft, an All-American from Stanford with prototypical size for the interior of the offensive line. However, his position isn't considered a premium one by NFL teams, and Dallas may wait until the second or third rounds to bolster their offensive line.

Brockers, meanwhile, is one of the most intriguing defensive line prospects in the draft. At 6'6 325, he has the size and speed to play both defensive line positions. However, he only played two seasons at LSU as part of a two-deep rotation, so his ultimate ceiling as a player is still unknown.

But while players with Brockers' size rarely last outside the top of the first round, the Tigers defensive line has sent several All-World athletes to the NFL (Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson) who have never been able to live up to their potential on the field.
